On this day in 1901 after her 63 year long reign Queen Victoria of England died.
The U.S. Senate confirmed Madeleine Albright as The first female secretary of state was Madeline Albright, confirmed by the U.S. Senate in 1997.
On “Bloody Sunday” in St. Petersburg, Russia five-hundred worker’s were killed by the Czar’s troops.
Former President Lyndon B. Johnson died at age 64 in the year 1973.
With the case Roe v. Wade the Supreme Court legalized some abortions in the U.S. on this day in history 1973.
